ABOUT COACH CODY

I am the owner and operator of Flex Code Coaching LLC. It is my goal and passion to share my knowledge, experience, and education with you as you embark on your new journey. There will be challenges, set backs and obstacles to overcome, but together we can break through these barriers/plateaus and keep you on the path to reaching your ultimate short and long term goals. With consistency comes results.

My passion for the health and wellness industry started back in 2009 when I weighed 135lbs as a freshman at Berea College where I studied Kinesiology and Rehabilitation science while playing basketball. I knew that if I wanted to make a great impact as a college athlete I needed to be bigger, faster and stronger. Fast forward 4 years and I ended my college basketball career at 165lbs, started all 4 years and was inducted into the 1,000 point club while finishing my bachelors in Kinesiology and Rehabilitation science.

I then advanced my degree and attended the University of Hawaii-Manoa where I graduated with a Masters of Science in Kinesiology and Rehabilitation science allowing me to sit for the board exam and become a Certified Athletic Trainer, Certified Strength and Condition Specialist and Tactical Strength and Conditioning-Facilitator in 2011.

Since then I have worked work with Pittsburgh University Football, Marshall University Football, Ohio State Men’s Basketball, University of Hawaii Women’s Soccer and Men’s Basketball, Hawaii Pacific University Baseball, Women’s Soccer and Cheer/Dance and The United States Navy and Marines at Pearl Harbor focusing on rehabilitation of injuries, sports performance and body sculpting for competitive body building athletes along with providing health and wellness programs for the general population.

My focus is now 100% on health/wellness and bodybuilding clientele. I aim to bring a thoughtful and measured approached with health and longevity always being our number one focus. CHECK-INS

Your check in sheet will be completed and sent out by Sunday of every week.

COMMUNICATION

Consistent, fully completed, and on time check-ins in order to allow me to make timely changes to your program. Communication is key! Please be open with communication, as it will allow me to answer your questions and help you reach your goals best.

TRANSPARENCY

Transparency and honesty. We are all human and I expect that occasional flaws and errors will occur. This is completely normal and a part of the process! The key to being a great athlete is also being able to tell me when these things happen so we can work through them together.

CONSISTENCY & EFFORT

Give all of your effort. The amount of effort that you put in to follow the plan will determine your rate of progress!

NUTRITION

macro-based or meal-plan based. Show prep clients will more than likely be on a meal plan, especially the last few weeks leading up to the show. Your caloric intake/foods you eat are a key part in reaching your goals and will be used as a tool to understand your body and guide you to you body composition goals.

CARDIO RECOMMENDATION

Include either steady-state or high-intensity forms of cardio. The specific form of cardio will vary among athletes and their goals. A daily step count recommendation or step goal is included under this service.

TRAINING

Custom programs are available in addition to nutrition coaching. Every training program is customized to the athlete and his or her goals. It is recommended that show prep clients follow both the nutrition and training plan together.

SUPPLEMENTATION

Recommendations are given based upon individual lifestyle and nutrition. Other general health or fitness supplementation is also recommended.

CHECK-INS

Accountability is important to stay on track toward your goals. Weekly check ins with progress photos are required in order for me to make adjustments to your plan and track your progress over time.
